Why drag clicking is so fast
Instead of relying on finger speed, drag clicking uses friction: press the button, then drag your fingertip across its surface. The switch flexes and re-triggers dozens of times a second from the physical vibration, producing rates no ordinary clicking technique can match. It depends heavily on your specific mouse's switch design and surface texture — not every mouse can drag click at all.
How your CPS is calculated
CPS = total clicks ÷ time in seconds. For example, 125 clicks in a 5-second run gives 125 ÷ 5 = 25 CPS.
