How the detection works
Every click's timestamp is compared to the one before it, producing a series of intervals. We calculate the coefficient of variation — the spread of those intervals relative to their average. Human clicking naturally wobbles by tens of milliseconds even when you try to be perfectly steady; auto-clickers fire at a fixed or near-fixed interval, so their variation is much lower.
