Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 4, 2026

In short: your test scores never leave your device, and the only tracking we use is Google Analytics to understand overall site usage. This page explains exactly what that means.

Test scores and personal bests

All test results, personal bests and recently-played history are stored in your browser'slocalStorage on your own device. They are never transmitted to our servers — we could not read them even if we wanted to. Clearing your browser data removes them permanently.

Google Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (gtag.js) to measure aggregate site usage. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) in your browser and collects data including:

  • Pages visited, time on page, and navigation paths
  • Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP), device type, browser and screen size
  • Interaction events such as starting or completing a test (score values may be sent as anonymous event parameters — never linked to your identity)

This data is aggregated and used only to understand which tests people use and how to improve the site. We do not sell data, run advertising, or use it to identify individuals. Google processes this data as described in theGoogle Privacy Policy. You can opt out with theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.

What we don't collect

  • No accounts, names, or email addresses (unless you email us yourself)
  • No test scores tied to you as a person
  • No advertising or third-party marketing trackers

Your rights (EU/EEA visitors)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification and erasure of personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you server-side, these rights mainly apply to Google Analytics data — see the opt-out options above. For any privacy question, use the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add features that change how data is handled (for example, optional accounts or a global leaderboard), this policy will be updated before those features go live.
